Kenmare Craic Team

Tracy is savage craic! She plays the fiddle and sings. Tracys father is from Templenoe, just outside Kenmare. She grew up in Dublin and moved back home with her family in 2020.  Tracy grew up in North County Dublin but now lives in Templenoe where she has family connections. She has over 30 years experience in performing and teaching traditional Irish fiddle music, singing but she also performs in all genres of music. She has been in numerous bands and groups over these years, touring many different countries and winning some prestigious awards along the way. She has two children and loves to see children learn and perform the gift of music together.

Karen is mighty craic! She’s hails from Kenmare and knows EVERYTHING about its history. Pick her brains, she’s an encyclopaedia of information. Karen has been a dedicated history teacher for the past 30 years whose passion for the past extends far beyond the classroom. Having spent all her life in Kenmare she has a particular love of local history, she has spent much of her career uncovering the stories, traditions, and voices that have shaped the community around her.

Suzanne is great craic! Also hails from the north side of Dublin but bagged herself a local man so she could live here.  Big sports fan, huge!!! Sharing a love of all genres of music and everything Irish. Suzanne plays guitar and regularly duets with fellow craic head Tracy. Passionate about inclusion and constantly learning new historic stories from the other craic head Karen.
